Dreams surrounded silent hope ~ As days moved on to years.
As yesterday fades into today ~ with ever increasing fears.
To walk alone is not my own ~ thought or aspiration.
My heart sighs softly in quiet pain ~ cruel laceration.
God seemed silent ~ as though not home ~ to hear the plaintive plea.
That hollow echo ~ hovers over ~ waves of violent sea.
A shattering embrace, (those hurtful ghosts) ~ such an unrelenting grasp!
How could I know that it is "time" ~ that scatters the hurtful past.
Or that God (in using a moment of prodigious timing) ~ would show me ~ YOU.
You blew away all else that had before ~ stood in full and open view.
Into that essential colliding corner
where we stood ~ my heart looked deep within your eyes ~ There seemed a place for me.
A warm welcome had emerged; you were holding me ~ unknowingly ~ in a look that set me free!
Yet, as you held me with your eyes ~ a haunting sadness, deep within ~ took me by surprise.
I wondered who you are and longed to know ~ why God chose you (for me) ~ to open up my eyes.
Dedicated To Tall Guy
WhereEverYouAre ~ I hope you are miserable... (I'm not being mean).
I say that because if you are not miserable
inside your man's heart
how will you ever wonder if you should meet me
before moving on in your life
(our lives are "moments" in time, aren't they)?
If you ever want to tell me about yourself
(or just talk to me) Call Ph: 894-4711 ~ Or Email Address Below
(I will always be interested).
You changed my life
and I'm so glad I was able to experience our encounter(s).
I had written Out of Dust earlier in my life (that was my first novel).
It is because of you the next three novels were written. Thank you!
A Mountain Too High is my story
within a fictional setting
(some parts are actual events depicted). The "Lead" male
in each novel is the way I see you. Again... Thank you! [Yes, I chose a male pseudonym]
